On Sunday, February 19, 2017 the Family of John “Jack” Van Sistine lost their father and the waterfowl and youth shooting community loss a leader of youth shooting sports. Our sincere condolences to the family and friends.
Jack was one of the area’s first Hunter Safety Instructors and very involved in several area scout camp youth shooting ranges. He was a yearly constant helper, planner, instructor and mentor at our annual Youth Learn to Hunt Waterfowl events.
Jack will be missed, however the effort and stewardship he put forward will continue to have a lasting effect on the future youth shooting sports participants.
Thanks Jack, for your volunteerism and efforts to encourage youth to enjoy the outdoors.
Rest in peace Jack. Your spirit will live on in everyone you’ve touched.
